Getting to Val Cenis

Driving from Grenoble:

The resort is located at 156 km from Grenoble and is reachable within 01h40min.
After leaving Grenoble, at La Tronche, take N90 for 1.5 km and then, take A41/E712 for 41km.
After passing close to Meylan and Saint-Ismier, head towards Montmelian/Alerville/Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne/Turin and pass close to Chambery.
Take A43/E70 for 84 km and after passing close to Montmelian, head towards Exit 24/Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne/Turin.
After passing close to St Jean de Maurienne, take the exit towards Exit 30/Haute-Maurienne Vanoise/Modane/Col du Mont-Cenis/Col de L'Iseran.
Close to Freney, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and continue along N6 for 27 km to arrive in Vai-Cenis.


Driving from Lyon:

The resort is located at 235 km from Lyon and is reachable within 02h37min.
After leaving Lyon, turn left on A7/E15 for 7 km and take the exit towards Saint-Fons/Boulevard Peripherique to head towards Saint-Fons/Boulevard Peripherique.
At Saint-Fons, continue straight on and take Avenue Pierre Semard.
Take N383/E70 towards Saint-Fons/Boulevard Peripherique and passing close to Venissieux, head towards Saint-Priest/Chambery/Grenoble/Saint-Exupery/Parilly.
Head towards Priest/Chambery/Grenoble/Saint-Exupery.
Close to Bron, take A43 for 88 km. After passing close to Saint-Priest, Bourgoin-Jallieu and La Tour-du-Pin, exit towards Exit14/13/Chambery/Aeroport/Albertville/Grenoble/Turin.
Head towards Albertville/Grenoble/Turin/Chambery.
Close to Chambery, take N201/E70/E712 for 6.5 km.
Then, take A43/E70 for 84 km.
Head towards Montmelian/Albertville/Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne/Turin.
After passing close to St Jean de Maurienne, take the exit towards Exit 30/Haute-Maurienne Vanoise/Modane/Col du Mont-Cenis/Col de L'Iseran.
Close to Freney, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and continue along N6 for 27 km to arrive in Vai-Cenis.


Driving from Geneva:

The resort is located at 213 km from Geneva and is reachable within 02h30min.
After leaving Geneva, take 1 and close to Carouge, take Route Des Jeunes.
Take A1A/1 towards E25/E62/France/Perly/Lausanne/Aeroport for 4.5 km and head towards Exit 1/E25/E62/France/Perly and then, towards E25/E62/France.
Take A1/E25/E62 for 1.3 km to enter France.
Take A401/E25/E62 for 2.5 km and take the exit towards Saint-Julien-en-Genevois/Annecy/Lyon/Dijon/Paris and head towards Exit 13/Annecy/Saint-Julien-en-Genevois/Collonges-Sous-Saleve.
Close to Saint-Julien-en-Genevois, at the roundabout, take the 4th exit and continue along N201 for 19 km towards A41/Chambery/A40/Chamonix/Annecy/Cruseilles.
Close to Annecy, take A41/E712 for 54 km towards Lyon/Grenoble/Annecy.
After passing Annecy and Aix-les-Bains, take Exit 13/14 towards A43/Chambery/Aeroport/Albertville/Grenoble/Turin.
Head towards Albertville/Grenoble/Turin/Chambery and close to Chambery, take N201/E70/E712 for 6.5 km.
Take A43/E70 for 94 km and head towards Montmelian/Albertville/Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne/Turin and then, exit towards Exit 24/Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne/Maurienne/Turin.
After passing close to St Jean de Maurienne, take the exit towards Exit 30/Haute-Maurienne Vanoise/Modane/Col du Mont-Cenis/Col de L'Iseran.
Close to Freney, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and continue along N6 for 27 km to arrive in Vai-Cenis.


Driving from Turin:

The resort is located at 96 km from Turin and is reachable within 01h26min.
After leaving Turin, take Corso Regina Margherita for 1.9km and then, take A55 for 9 km towards Torino Sud/E70/A21/Picenza/E717/A6/Savona/E70/T4/Frejus.
Head towards Tangenziale Sud/A6/Savona/E717/A21/Piacenza/E25/A26/Genova/Torino Sud/Pinerolo.
Take A32/70 for 36 km and take the exit towards Susa/SS25/Moncenisio/Autoporto.
Then, turn left to SS25 for 20 km and pass by Susa to enter France.
Take N6 for 23 km and after passing close to Lanslevillard, you are to arrive in Val Cenis.


By Rail/Bus:
There is a direct daily Paris-Chambery TGV (www.sncf.com) during the winter, which runs only on weekends off-season. A Lille-Lyon TGV runs every day. Apart from that, there are direct TGVs from Qimper, Brest and Lille in February. The nearest TGV station is Modane, at 24 km from the resort.An ALTIBUS bus service (www.altibus.com) links the Modane station with the Haute Maurienne Vanoise resorts and stops at Val Cenis.
