St Jean d'Arves is a small French ski resort, which ensures direct access to 20 km of downhill ski runs with 5 individual pistes. The resort is located at 1600 m above sea level. Snow cover is reliable with skiing above 2000 m. Additionally there are 16 km of cross-country trails. The maximum vertical drop is 810 m, and the highest lift reaches to 2260 m. Geneva and Lyon airports are two hours away from the resort by car, and Chambery Airport is an hour away in good road conditions, so you will hit the slopes in the shortest possible time. There are some excellent pistes for beginners and a snow park for boarders.
