Saint Gevais is an old spa village, dating back from ancient Roman times. It is situated at the foot of Europe’s highest peak – Mont Blanc within the pass area of the Pays du Mont Blanc at 850 m above sea level. Its comparatively low altitude is fully compensated by the perfect location - direct access to some of the best world skiing opportunities spreading on about 700 km of skiable slopes. At this altitude snow season lasts from early January to April, but in Saint Gervais, being in the Northern Alps, skiers can count on solid and stable snow cover throughout this period. The Saint Gervais resort itself has 65 km of skiing runs on over 47 slopes. The vast skiing area assures that all level skiers find the runs to suit them best. Special attention is paid to beginners with more than 40% of the pistes prepared to gradually introduce them to the most popular and attractive winter sport. 17 percent of the pistes are quite challenging to please and enjoy ardent expert skiers, the highest vertical drop being at 1 200 m. The runs are serviced by 27-lifts system reaching up to 2350 m. Snowboarders are invited to a great fun here – several half-pipes and a fun park guarantee an excellent boarding experience strengthened by pretty good free-riding terrain. 30 km of ski trails along lovely mountain scenery are also available for cross-country skiers. Additional skiing opportunities are given access to by just one ski pass thanks to the ideal location of the resort - at the foot of the Mont Blanc skiing area. Over 700 km of great runs – from easy smooth slopes to hair-rising verticals in some of the worlds best skiing resorts above!

Away from the vast skiing area, you still have plenty to do in Saint Gervais. The resort offers a myriad of open-air and in-door activities such as paragliding, ice-skating, curling, swimming among others.
