The ski resort of Praz de Lys - Sommand is located in the Chablais region, Haute-Savoie, Northern French Alps. It offers 60 km of cross-country runs, a modern snow park, and 40 individuals runs served by 23 lifts. The area served by the lift network extends from 1400 meters to 1980 meters. The resort is very good for beginners, with plenty of well-groomed, gentle slopes. Intermediates will have a good time here as well. There are four airports within a two-hour drive of Praz de Lys, so snowboard breaks and ski weekends are a feasible option. Geneva Airport is just an hour away by car in good road conditions.
