Notre Dame de Bellecombe is a beautiful, picturesque resort village with an authentic pastoral atmosphere. It is suitable for beginners and intermediates in terms of skiing. An ancient farming community, it unites 11 small hamlets with only 510 permanent inhabitants. Its symbol is an 11th century bulb-shaped belfry. The resort is located above Flumet in the countryside Val d’Arly. The resorts of Megeve and Albertville are within easy reach from here. Notre Dame de Bellecombe offers scenic runs with amazing views of Mont Blanc, extending down through spruce woods. The gentle nursery slopes are perfect for training. Expert skiers need not worry about being bored – there are many off-piste opportunities as well. Notre Dame is connected to the nearby resorts of Praz sur Arly and Flument. Recently it acquired a connection to the runs of Crest-Voland and Les Saisies, creating the impressive Espace Diamant ski area, which incorporates 140 km of slopes.
