High up in the French Alps, gently nestling on the majestic Belladonna Massif the Chamrousse village resort awaits tourists for an unforgettable holiday. The skiing area in Chamrousse is composed by two smaller ones outstanding at 2 km from each other - Chamrousse 1650 (Recoin), with 7 black runs and perfect for expert skiers; Chamrousse 1750 (Roche Béranger), predominantly intermediate welcoming families and average skiing fans.

Besides skiing, Chamrousse is perfectly equipped to assure snowboarders unique conditions and variety to fully enjoy their favorite sport in all “board” activities – Freestyle, Big Air or Snowboard. Another convenience for all boarders among you is the snow park and the lovely halfpipe of Chamrousse.

The Olympic resort is situated at 1700 m on the south slopes of the Belladonna Massif. At this altitude the solid amount of snow is guaranteed till May for a shiny spring-white vacation! Still, it is equipped with snow cannons to assure the necessary amount of white sparkling cover on major areas at the lower parts of the skiable terrains till very late spring time. With lots of snow guaranteed, Chamrousse has prepared everything else to assure best conditions for various winter sports – paragliding and ice-skating among others. Families will love the alpine village and their little ones will simply adore the amusing "Kid Snowskate Park" situated at "La Croix de Chamrousse”. The lift system connecting the whole skiing area of Chamrousse includes 10 chair-lifts, 1 telepherique and 12 tow-skis. It is a quite modern and excellently equipped one offering splendid sky views over the magic alpine scenery of the Belladonna Massif. To really touch Chamrousse’s splendor and fairytale winter beauty you should go cross-skiing. The resort invites you along the 55 km of beautiful mountain trails or, if you prefer, you could immerse into the fresh intact mountain spirit by heading along the 8 km of walking paths.

Besides winter sports and open-air activities, Chamrousse offers to its visitors full variety of relax and recreation activities – in-door tennis, squash or even golf, swimming, sauna, fitness center and many others.
