Arc 2000 has the greatest elevation of all the villages in Les Arcs. This peaceful, pedestrian resort has a lodging base of over 7000 beds, 30 shops, a cinema, free transport between the other Arc villages, and a cable car connecting it to Arc 1950. The other villages in this resort area are Arc 1600 and Arc 1800. Arc 2000 is the starting point of most marked hiking routes. Its majestic scenery is sure to leave you breathless. This resort offers extensive off-piste terrain and a wide variety of advanced runs. Experienced skiers looking for challenging pistes will feel right at home here. Especially notable is the 7-km black run to Arc Villaroger Le Pre, known as Aiguille Rouge.
