Arc 1800 is the main resort area in the ski region of Les Arcs. It offers a myriad of sports and apres-ski options, and very convenient ski-in, ski-out facilities. Other possibilities in Arc 1800 include snowboarding, golfing, ice-skating, tennis, and more. There are 100 shops in the resort itself, and many more in the nearby town of Bourg-St-Maurice, which also offers pleasant, traditional Saturday markets, a public swimming pool and a local attraction, the Beaufort dairy. Arc 1800 has three sections and a comprehensive network of facilities. Other advantages include easy access to the Arc 2000 bowl and to the blue and red runs in the direction of Peisey Nancroix. Arc 1800 has several fun bars, exciting nightclubs, and restaurants like Gargantus, which serve delicious local specialties.
