Arc 1600, named after its elevation of 1600 m, is a resort area in Les Arcs. It is the lowest of the five resorts in the ski region. Arc 1600 is directly linked to the town of Bourg St. Maurice by funicular. Arc 1600 offers entertainment for children, apres-ski, great snow conditions, and wonderfully scenic natural surroundings. It was the first resort developed in Les Arcs and is often referred to as Arc Pierre Blanche after the founder of Les Arcs. Arc 1600 offers 30 shops, an accommodation base of 4 190 beds, 121 pistes, 62 lifts, and a snow park for boarders.
