Vars is a compact ski resort in France, with varied pistes and sunny nursery slopes. It is especially appropriate for beginners and intermediate skiers. It enjoys 300 sunny days a year. There are two draglifts and several gentle slopes at village level, which are suitable for amateur skiers. There are several black runs for professional skiers, as well as a vast off-piste terrain, best explored with a ski instructor. You can also try the speed ski run. Vars has a great après ski scene with two shopping arcades, nightclubs, restaurants, bars, a gaming hall and skating facilities. Other recreational activities include fitness areas and helicopter rides.
