Tucked away in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park and close to the Spanish border, the resort of Peyragudes overlooks two beautiful valleys - Louron and Larboust. Peyragudes is a small but friendly and lively village, which managed to preserve its traditions. The high altitude allows the snow coverage to be generally reliable and thus skiers can hit the fantastic slopes at Peyresourde and Agudes during the entire winter and sometimes even afterwards. Winter activities
With 46 pistes this resort offers challenging slopes and skiing to suit everyone, although the majority of the ski runs are intended for intermediates and beginners. There are 37 individual pistes and a well-established transportation network, including 17 ski lifts. 110 ski canons ensure good snow conditions to the ski fans, the snow park will make the snowboarders’ dream come true with number of attractions (half-pipe, handrails and boarder cross). For those preferring cross-country skiing or snowshoeing, there is a Nordic Area covering 15km of trails, passing through picturesque areas. Another exciting opportunity is to get on a dogsled and make a tour to explore the beautiful surroundings. There are even special facilities for the young visitors, who can play at the snow kindergarten while their parents are sliding down the slopes.

Summer activities
With more luck, at the Pyrenees peaks a hiker can see many protected species of the fauna like the grouse, the bear or the golden eagle. Hiking tour gives also a good chance to discover places with none-to-one nature, reachable on well-marked paths and upon a request with the professional guides to lead you. Awesome rocks are a true challenge faced by the climbers and the paragliders will experience a magnificent panorama over the valleys.
