Winter activities
Excellent skiing is offered at the two slopes of St. Jean and Dormillouse/Col Bas, interconnected by a lift-chair. The ski arena covers 45 km of well-maintained terrain, including 31 runs mostly for intermediates. Easy transfer is possible thanks to the 4 ski lifts and 11 ski tows with overall capacity of 12000 skiers per hour. Not only fans of downhill skiing style will be delighted, as there is also a stadium for the slalom enthusiasts. For beginners there is a ski school and the children will have real fun at the Club Gavroche, where lots of attractions and events are organized. Snowshoe hiking is available as well, starting at altitude between 2000 and 2500 m.
Summer activities
Summer comes at Saint Jean Montclar with lush meadows, colorful scenery and positive emotions. There are sport activities for the whole family: hiking with a mountain guide, mountain bike trips (free of charge for children), swimming, tennis, fitness and other types of exercise.
